Abstract
The article considers a variant of the drilling head, in which a generator of hydrodynamic oscillations is placed. The main task of research is to select the mode of heat treatment of the resonator material, which ensures an increase in its plasticity. Due to this, an increase in the service life of the resonator is expected as a result of a decrease in sensitivity to stress concentration in the region of defects, including cracks. The main part of the research is related to the determination of the 60С2A steel mechanical characteristics, both in the state of delivery and after heat treatment. With the help of metallographic analysis, the author showed that the proposed options for heat treatment don’t lead to deviations in indicators from the requirements of regulatory documentation. It was determined that the highest value of the plasticity index is realized during heat treatment, which includes annealing + hardening + tempering. A variant of heat treatment of steel 60C2A is proposed, which provides an increase in the service life of the drilling head. Keywords: heat treatment, steel 60С2A, metallographic analysis, tensile test, mechanical characteristics, plasticity index
