Abstract. The purpose of the research is to determine and evaluate the foreign trade efficiency index, as well as to examine the characteristics of using the presented methodologies. Research methodology - comparative analysis, logical summarization, systematic approach, synthesis and analysis methods were used in the research work. Application importance of the research - currently, the development of the non-oil sector in the country's economy is of particular importance. From this point of view, the main issues investigated in the study are the determination and evaluation of the efficiency indicators of the country's foreign trade relations. determination and application of efficiency indicators of foreign trade relations are of particular importance for the country's economy. The results of the research - The theoretical and methodological issues investigated and the diversification coefficient of the country's export and import were calculated based on this and the results were interpreted from a scientific point of view. Originality and scientific novelty of the research - During the research, modern approaches were used to evaluate the efficiency of foreign trade relations, and the Grubel-Lloyd index, the diversification coefficient of the economy was calculated.
