Abstract
The purpose of the study is to assess the current state of foreign trade relations, as well as generalize them taking into account the characteristics of the modern era. Research methodology - comparative analysis, logical summarization, systematic approach, synthesis and analysis methods were used in the research work. Application importance of the research - the development of the non-oil sector in the country's economy is of special relevance. From this point of view, the main issues investigated in the research are the determination and evaluation of the current state of the country s foreign trade relations. The results of the study - the country's export concentration index and foreign trade complex analysis, the functional purpose of import and export were analyzed, and it was shown that the development of the non-oil sector in the country s economy is of particular importance. Originality and scientific novelty of the research - efficiency indicators of foreign economic relations were evaluated based on the methodology of the World Bank, the index of the maturity of Azerbaijan s exports was given, and it was stated that the obtained results are relevant for the national economy.
