Abstract

Comparative studies are presented to evaluate the effect of temperature on the coagulating ability of a composite coagulant-flocculant based on nepheline raw materials and a traditional coagulant of aluminum sulfate in relation to sulfate lignin in the temperature range 4–30°С. The advantage of the composite coagulant-flocculant is shown when it is used in the physicochemical purification technology at low temperatures with ensuring a stable effect of clarification of wastewater from ligno-humic impurities in a wide pH range.
