Abstract
This study aims to determine the actual and potential land suitability of maize crops and its limiting factors in Malua District. The method used in this research is survey method and descriptive data analysis and determination of land suitability class based on FAO method. The results showed that the actual land suitability of maize crops in Malua District, Enrekang Regency, land units 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11 and 12 are marginally suitable (S3) with nutrient availability factor (P2O5). While the potential land suitability is quite suitable (S2) with the limiting actor of rooting media (soil texture).
