Abstract

Likewise, on the borders between Peru, Bolivia and Chile, latent conflicts over water resources have been determined, carrying out an analysis of this problem to determine the best solutions, in which the aforementioned countries benefit, especially the border populations.The objective of this article is to evaluate how the National Policy and Strategy for the integrated management of water resources contributes to sustainable development by 2030, in the case of the Southern Border of Peru.As a result of the study, it is concluded that the State actions that must be adopted, on the Water Resources Policy, approved by the National Agreement, are aimed at guaranteeing that every person in the country has access to drinking water, as well as to environmental sanitation services.In the same way, it is concluded that, regarding the problem of water resources between Peru, Chile and Bolivia, negotiations between these three countries should continue to be carried out in a timely and peaceful manner, in order to avoid conflicts in which, The most affected would be the residents of the border cities.
