Abstract
Abstract 'Bush Blue Lake 94' snap beans were planted Jun 1 at the Agricultural Experiment Station, Rosemount, MN. Plots were 3-row, 35 ft long, arranged in a randomized complete block with 3 replications. Ten plants from the center of each row were artificially infested Jul 23 with 2 egg masses/plant of European corn borer in the 'blackhead' stage of development. Insecticides were applied either Jul 19, 23, or 26, using a CO -powered sprayer delivering 20 gal/acre at ca 25 psi .
