Abstract

One of the principal errors when trying to interpret Kant's practical philosophy is the failure to look at the elements into which it is divided. The philosopher of Konigsberg structured practical philo- sophy into three main parts. The first constitutes the critical or propedeutic system of the metaphysics of morals, which deals with the supreme principle of morality. The second part contains the set of duties or obligations pertaining to pure practical reason, and the third is a moral anthropology or, in a pragmatic sense, the empirical part of Kant's practical philosophy.
