Abstract

Based on the thorough analysis of the challenges of basic medical education filed in China,the School of Basic Medical Sciences at Peking University has established a novel medical education curriculum through optimization of the current teaching system for medical theory and experimental medicine and implement of the problem-based learning (PBL) and the innovative scientific training program.The new curriculum has been implemented for the class of clinical and basic medical students in 8-year program since 2010 and achieved a great success.
