Abstract

AbstractThe prediction of water production in oilfield development index is an essential and important evaluation index. At present, the relevant research results are mainly in the middle and high water cut stage, but there are few water production prediction models suitable for low permeability complex fault block reservoirs in the low water cut stage. Combined with the seepage characteristics of low permeability complex fault block reservoir, it is found that the polynomial formula has high accuracy in describing the relationship between water saturation and water phase relative permeability. According to the established polynomial formula, a new water production prediction model suitable for low permeability complex fault block oilfield is established, which is suitable for low, medium and high water cut stages. The model has good application effect in low permeability fault block oilfield, and can guide the prediction of water production in complex fault block oilfield.KeywordsWater productionRelative permeability curveLow permeabilityComplex fault block
