Abstract

Along the lines indicated by recent papers, I have revised my results for the absorption and dispersion properties of the pyramid shaped quantum dots under the simultaneous action of incident light and external electric field. The results related to: (i) electronic structure calculations in pyramid shaped quantum dots under applied electric fields and (ii) the tuning of the optical absorption and the group velocity by varying the electric field strength and the ellipticity parameter of the probe light pulse remain unaffected. However, great dissimilarities are found between the old and new results for large intensities of the incident light.
