Background & Aims of the StudyBrucellosis is a bacterial infectious disease that can be transmitted between humans and animals through the consumption of unpasteurized dairy products or direct human contact with infected animals, placenta, or aborted fetuses. The results showed that 60.6%, 63.3%, and 78.6% of the subjects who lived in urban, rural, and nomadic areas, respectively, had used unpasteurized dairy products (Table 2).
