Abstract
The present study was conducted on environmental knowledge, behaviour and attitude of government and private secondary school students. The objective of the study was to compare and to explore the relationship of the environmental knowledge, behaviour and attitude of government and private secondary school students. A sample of 264 secondary school students was taken. The descriptive survey method was used. The collected data was analysed by using Pearson Correlation and t-test. The result reveals that the environmental knowledge and behaviour of government and private school students differ significantly. The results also indicate that there exists positive correlation among environmental knowledge, behaviour and attitude of private and government school students but the environmental attitude of government and private school students was not significantly different.
