Abstract

This study conducted a stratified sample of 1800 school teachers to investigate their level of environmental education awareness and gender. Data were collected using a self-made questionnaire and processed with appropriate statistical techniques, namely 2-way ANOVA and t-test. The results show that there are significant differences in environmental education awareness among primary and secondary school teachers, with the former scoring higher. There is no significant difference in environmental education awareness among male and female school teachers. However, the interaction of the two variables (level and gender) showed significant differences in environmental education awareness.
