Abstract

The objective of this essay is to give voice to the legendary Inês de Castro. The three works served as inspiration for the scenic game production in which the Lusitanian culture dialogues with the northeastern culture: O caso de Pedro e Inês: Inês (quecivel) até o fim do mundo – ABC da literatura, by Francisco Maciel Silveira, some poems by Natália Correia, and the song Assum Preto, written by Humberto Teixeira and Luiz Gonzaga, and performed by Gal Costa.
