Abstract

The article analyzes the peculiarities of enhancing written communication skills in the interethnic environment of transnational corporations. The authors explore the rhetorical and pragmalinguistic features as well as the linguistic realizations and strategies used by Russian business communicants in writing business letters in English and contrast them to the samples of business letters of native English speakers. The paper proposes recommendations for preparing managerial personnel for international business interaction in the workplace through integrating authentic models and contexts into training strategies.
