Abstract

Endocannabinoid system has a broad spectrum of physiological effects in human body, is associated with analgesia, immune regulation and energy metabolism, plays an important role in the regulation of pruritus, and affects the occurrence and development of pruritus. Endocannabinoid receptors, a kind of G protein-coupled receptor, can protect nerves, counteract inflammation and inhibit tumor cell growth. Recent research has found that the endocannabinoid system is involved in the regulation of survival, proliferation and differentiation of skin cells, and is a key factor for maintaining skin homeostasis. More and more studies have also demonstrated that the endocannabinoid system is closely related to the occurrence and development of numerous dermatoses, and targeted regulation of the system may benefit the treatment of related dermatoses.
