Abstract

Based on micro-survey data of 1771 college students, the paper empirically analyze the influence of entrepreneurial environment on entrepreneurial intention of college students in China. The result shows that there are the following characteristics in the influence of different dimensions of entrepreneurial environment on students' entrepreneurial intention. The students' entrepreneurial intention has a significant difference with different gender, profession, and academic qualifications. Education and training, government support, market conditions, and financial environment have a significant positive predictive effect on students' entrepreneurial intention, while research transfer and entrepreneurial culture have no significant predictive effect on students' entrepreneurial intention. It is also found that gender difference plays a regulatory role in the relationship between entrepreneurial culture and entrepreneurial intention of college students. This paper also provides some relevant suggestions for improving college students' entrepreneurial intention in China.
