Abstract
E.M.F. measurements of the cell Pt-H 2( p = 1)|HCl( m 2), MgCl 2( m 3), CaCl 2( m 4|AgCl, Ag have been combined with isopiestic measurements of the system MgCl 2CaCl 2 to calculate the activity coefficients of each of the electrolytes in aqueous HClMgCl 2CaCl 2 mixtures.
