Abstract

This paper will mainly focus on exploring the most significant factors affecting the sales of electric vehicles in China, the EU, and the US. After understanding the current situation of the electric vehicle market, the first step is using this information to compare and filter out important influencing factors and study them. Among many factors, electricity price, GDP, carbon dioxide emissions and the number of charging piles are the focus of this paper. Then with the help of R, some intuitive and clear conclusions are drawn during the research to help analyze the entire EV market. These conclusions not only allow people to understand the impact of certain factors on the sales of electric vehicles, but also provide a clearer and more detailed comparison of the three major electric vehicle markets.
