Abstract

Abstract The experimental results of electric properties examinations of CdTe2O5 ferroelastic crystals in wide temperature (300–700)K, field (10 – 2·104) V/cm and frequency (2·102 – 5·107) Hz ranges for samples of (001) m orientation are reported. Voltage-current curves obey to the laws of space charge limited currents. At large electric field values the conductivity stimulation effect have been revealed. It were obtained the low values of carrier mobility μ ef and μ ef exponentially grow with temperature increasing. Ac conductivity of CdTe2O5 single crystals were increased with increasing of frequency. The obtained results of dc and ac conductivity examinations were discussed from position of the hopping conductivity model.
