Abstract

The additional structure and the sign reversal of the magnetophonon resonance extrema at high electric fields are explained in terms of the electric field induced inelastic inter-Landau level scattering, longitudinal optic phonon scattering. The calculated transverse magnetoconductivity shows a good agreement with experimental observations in thin n +nn + GaAs structures reported by Eaves et al. and Guimaraes et al.
