Abstract
AbstractThe current research shows both thermal and mechanical responses under non‐local and phase lag influences in a thermoelastic diffusive half space. After being transformed into a two‐dimensional instance, the governing equations become dimensionless. To analyze the issue, the Laplace transform and Fourier transform with regard to time and space coordinates are used. Chemical potential sources and ramp‐type tangential force are used to determine the problem's application. The converted form of physical field quantities, such as displacements, stresses, temperature changes, and chemical potential, are attained through analytical expression. Numerical inversion is used to find these piles in the physical domain. Silhouettes representing computed numerical quantities are used to illustrate the effects of phase delays and non‐local effects. Additionally, other specific instances are given. The issue is extremely important in many engineering and geoscience domains.
