Abstract

This article aims to define whether the conflict that develops in the LaborCourts in La Plata city in its first years (1948-1955) was individual or collective. Theworking hypothesis arises from a perspective that focuses its development in theapplication of the concept of historical agency as central to elucidate the collectivecharacteristics in individual disputes. In order to support this hypothesis it will bepresented the limits to the individualization from Labor Law doctrine itself, as wellas the limit imposed by the practices of the actors themselves who came to laborjustice in pursuit of their rights. This research also allows reconstructing new rolesfor institutions such as trade unions and their role in everyday conflicts.
