Abstract
Every individual possess their own mode of reactions, which are guided by their specific personality type. Reacting in various ways to different situations, they face their everyday lives. The current study intends to reveal personality-aspects that manipulate the expressions of emotion, particularly, the expression of aggression. 60 females - 20 convicts from the Presidency Jail, 20 DSH patients from Government Hospitals normal persons (matched group) acted as subjects. E.F.A Scale (Indian Adaptation), Rorschach Ink Blot Test were used to measure personality variables from different aspects. Each individual was approached separately: RIB/EFA were administered with sufficient time gaps. From the Analysis of result, one may state that objectives of the study were met. Ample difference was found within three groups of women. The difference apparent from the result is that, the DSH show an immediate need for gratification. They have empathy with society which makes them dependent on other's approval. The Convicts feel relatively little need for approval and affection, not being held back by related anxieties, which might put a stop to their strongly developed reactivity to emotional stimulations from the environment.
