Abstract

Objective To observe the treatment efficacy of reconstructive human epidermal growth factor(rhEGF)application after corneal foreign body removal.Methods One hundred and forty-eight patients with ferric comeal foreign body removal were randomly divided into two groups.One group,treatment group,was given reconstructive human epidermal growth factor and levofloxacin ophthalmic solution topically,and the other group,control group,was given oculentum aureomycini and levofloxacin ophthalmic solution.The treatment efficacy was compared.Results The efficacy in treatment group was much better than control group.Conclusions Reconstructive human epidermal growth factor has good repair function for corneal epithelium after corneal foreign body removal.A better effect achieved with perfect nursing.
