Abstract
Objective To study the recombinant human epidermal growth factor in the treatment of corneal edema after cataract phacoemulsification. Methods Fifty - six cases of complicated cataract surgery corneal edema were randomly divided into two groups, control group using tobramycin and dexam-ethasone eye drops and other conventional treatment, the treatment group received recombinant human epidermal growth factor, observe visual acuity, corneal thickness and corneal edema subsided case. Results In the control group cure time of 1 -9 days, an average of 4.2 days, treatment group cure time of 1-4 days, an average of 1. 6 days, the treatment group healing time was significantly shorter than the control group ( P <0.01). Conclusions Recombinant human epidermal growth factor in cataract surgery corneal edema more conducive to the restoration.
