Abstract

Objective To explore the effects of psychological nursing intervention on the emotion and the life quality of IUC patients Methods Sixty ICU patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group with 30 cases in each.Patients in the experimental group not only received conventional nursing of intensive care but also psychological nursing intervention,while the control group received conventional nursing of intensive care.Anxiety,depression,sleep quality and the life quality of two groups were observed,self-rating anxiety scale,self-rating depression scale,Pittsburgh sleep quality index and SF-36 scale were used to assess the intervention effects.Results After intervention,the scores of each dimension of SF-36 in the experimental group were higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05),while the scores of SAS,SDS and each dimension of PSQI in the experimental group were lower than those of the control group (P < 0.05) Conclusions Psychological nursing intervention can relieve the unhealthy feeling,improve the sleep quality and the life quality of ICU patients.
