Abstract

The influence of the neutron irradiation on the magnetic properties of Fe80B20 amorphous ribbons is investigated by the temperature dependence of spontaneous magnetization and hysteresis loop measurements. It is shown that the irradiation leads to a decrease of the value of the exchange constant Aex implying atomic rearrangements to ward disordering after irradiation. Beside this, there are strong indications from hysteresis loop measurements that elastic stress centres are produced during the process of neutron irradiation in the amorphous ribbons investigated. After annealing a recovering of irradiation-induced defect structures takes place. [Russian Text Ignored].
