Abstract

Objective To analyze the effect of levosimendan on hemorheology, myocardial injury, and cardiac function in patients with chronic heart failure. Methods 66 patients with chronic heart failure in our hospital from February 2015 to March 2016 were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 33 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional medication, and the observation group was treated with levosimendan on the basis of conventional medication. The hemorheology, myocardial injury, cardiac function, and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the stroke volume and IGF-1 level in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the mean arterial pressure and cTNT level in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). No serious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups, and the patients were well tolerated. Conclusion Levosimendan in the treatment of chronic heart failure can effectively improve the hemorrheology and cardiac function of the patients, and reduce the degree of myocardial injury, with higher safety. Key words: Chronic heart failure; Levosimendan; Hemorheology; Myocardial injury; Cardiac function
