Abstract
Effects of forward scattering by impurities and incommensurate lattices are considered, using the Fukuyama-Lee method for a weakly localized system, in which the density of impurities is very large and the strength of impurity potential is very weak. It is demonstrated that a soliton lattice may appear due to the forward scattering by impurities and consequently the system may become metallic. It is also shown that the incommensurate lattice has a similar effect.
