Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy and application value of docetaxel combined with cisplatin chemotherapy and concurrent radiotherapy on advanced cervical cancer. Methods Ninety patients with advanced cervical cancer who were treated in the Department of Oncology in Yuncheng Central Hospital from January 2015 to June 2017 were selected and divided into observation group and control group by random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. All patients in the two groups were given radiotherapy. Patients in control group were given cisplatin chemotherapy, and patients in observation group were treated by docetaxel plus cisplatin chemotherapy. The therapeutic effects of the two groups were recorded and compared. Results The total effective rate was 46.67% in observation group and 22.22% in control group, and the difference between the groups was statistically significant (χ2=5.9541, P 0.05). Conclusions The application of docetaxel combined with cisplatin chemotherapy and concurrent radiotherapy can enhance the therapeutic effect on patients with advanced cervical cancer without increasing incidence of adverse reactions, and it is worthy of promotion and application in clinical.
