Abstract

The current numerical study suggests using a vortex generator to lessen the consequences of a counter-rotating vortex pair. For this inquiry, the delta winglet pair in the common-flow-down arrangement is selected. A suitable model for turbulence is examined. The x, y, and z vorticity is studied. Additionally, the effect of variations in turbulent kinetic energy is examined. The outcome is contrasted with the reference scenario. Employing the k-omega SST turbulence model and the commercial code FLUENT, numerical analysis is accomplished.
