Abstract

Objective To investigate and analyze the effects of Pushen Yuyan Decoction on ovarian hemorheology and levels of monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1) and hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) in patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. Methods 92 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease treated in our hospital selectec from June, 2016 to June, 2018 were randomly divided into a combination group and a control group, 46 for each group. The control group orally took onlazole dispersible tablets; in addition, the combination group were treated with Puzao Yuyan Decoction. The clinical efficacy, TCM symptom scores before and after treatment, ovarian hemorheology, serum levels of MCP-1 and hs-CRP, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate was higher in the combination group than in the control group (89.13% vs. 69.56%, P<0.05). The scores of abdominal pain, lumbosacral pain, much morbid leucorrhea, yellow morbid leucorrhea, odor of morbid leucorrhea, low fever, yellow urine, and dry stool as well as the levels of MCP-1 and hs-CRP were lower after than before the treatment in both groups, and were lower in the combination group than in the control group after the treatment, with statistical differences (all P<0.05). The resistance indexes on the left and right sides were higher after than before the treatment, and were higher in the combination group than in the control group after the treatment, with statistical differences (all P<0.05). Conclusion Puzao Yuyan Decoction and onlazole dispersible tablets in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease can improve the curative effect of ovarian blood rheology and levels of MCP-1 and hs-CRP, and is safe, with no obvious adverse reaction during the treatment period. Key words: Pushen Yuyan decoction; Chronic pelvic inflammatory disease; Ovarian hemorheology; MCP-1; hs-CRP
