Abstract

In this study, [Li0.04(Na0.54 + x K0.46)0.96](Nb0.81Ta0.15 Sb0.04)O3 ceramics were prepared by conventional solid-state sintering techniques. The XRD pattern of the ceramics in range of 2θ from 43° to 48° indicated that the specimens have tetragonal symmetry when x (Na) ≤ 0.005. The piezoelectric constant (d33 ), dielectric constant (ϵr ) and electromechanical coupling factor (k p) were improved by compensating the evaporation of Na and enhancing the sinterability. All the samples have high density, ranging from 4.72 to 4.77(g/cm3). The dielectric and piezoelectric properties were enhanced due to Na excess. As the result, in the composition with x = 0.005, excellent properties of density = 4.73(g/cm3), kp = 0.46, d33 = 279(pC/N) and g33 = 20.26(mV.m/N) were obtained, respectively, suitable for piezoelectric energy harvesting device.
