Abstract

Objective To explore the efficacy that the multidisciplinary medical care behavior improved social functions and the quality of life.Methods 212 clinical healed inpatients with schizophrenia were randomly divided into study groups ( 106 patients) and the control group ( 106 cases),Two groups of patients were given the antipsychotic drugs therapy when they we left the hospital.Study group was continued hospital care and nursing,implemented interdisciplinary medical care behavior,the specialized persons who transferred by hospital penetrated into their family to give rehabilitation guidance,corrected their mistakes behavior,adjusted their training methods for 1 year.The effect was assessed by BPRS,SDSS and WHO-QOL before intervention and after intervention.Results Before intervention,the total score between he study group and the control group ( P > 0.05 ).After intervention,the total score of BPRS ( 24.89 ± 6.77 ),SDSS ( 8.13 ± 3.12 ) in the study group showed significantly lower than that the total score of BPRS(29.79 ±7.68),SDSS( 16.46 ±4.22) in control group(t =3.06,9.10; P < 0.01 ),the score of WHO-QOL(5.95 ± 2.19) in study group was higher than the score of WHO-QOL(3.54 ± 1.62)in control group(t =9.27,P < 0.01 ).Conclusions The muhidisciplinary medical care behavior could effectively continue hospital care and nursing,it would has the positive role for keeping state of an illness of the patients with schizophrenia,perfect their social function and improve the quality of life.
