Abstract

Objective To explore the efficacy of the multidisciplinary medical nursing concerted intervention for improving social function deficiedcy and raising qulity of life of the patients with schizophrenia who were the first onset.Methods A total of 212 clinical healed inpatients with schizophrenia who were the first onset were randomly divided into study groups ( 106 patients) and the control group ( 106 cases).Two groups of patients were given the antipsychotic drugs to maintain the psychological education and general treatment,when they left the hospital,the study group was additionally continued the hospital nursing and nursing,implemented interdisciplinary recover guidance,correcting the mistakes,and adjusting the rehabilitation training methods for 1 year.The effect was assessed by BPRS,SDSS and WHO-QOL Results After 1 year,the total score,SDSS BPRS of the study group patients were lower than those of the control group (P <0.01 ).The scores of WHO-QOL of the study group were higher than those in the control group (P <0.01 ).Conclusions The multidisciplinary medical nursing concerted intervention could effectively continue hospital care and nursing,it had active role for improving social function and raising qulity of life of the patients with schizophrenia who are the first onset.
