Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of individualized nursing intervention on rehabilitation course and nursing satisfaction of patients after renal calculi surgery. Methods 76 patients with renal calculi undergoing percutaneous nephroscope ultrasonic lithotripsy in our hospital from June 2016 to May 2017 were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 38 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was given individualized nursing intervention on the basis of the routine nursing. The operation condition (ambulation time, the time of ostomy catheter removal), hospitalization time, complications (infection, unplanned extubation of ostomy catheter, urine retention, hematuria), and nursing satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results The ambulation time, the extubation time, and the hospitalization time of the observation group were less than those of the control group (P<0.05). The complication rate of the observation group was 5.26% (2/38), lower than that of the control group [26.32% (10/38)] (P<0.05). The total nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 94.74% (36/38), higher than that of the control group [76.32% (29/38)] (P<0.05). Conclusion Individualized nursing intervention can reduce the incidence of postoperative complications, accelerate the postoperative rehabilitation, and improve the nursing satisfaction of patients after renal calculi surgery.
