Abstract

Objective To explore the application effect of Compound Lidocaine Cream on dilation of anus in children with anal atresia after operation. Methods A total of 64 children with anal atresia were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group (32 cases in each group). The patients of control group used conventional methods to dilate anus, and the patients observation group received Compound Lidocaine Cream before dilatation of anus. We compared children′s reaction of the pain. Results In observation group, at the 1st, 2nd, 3rd day, FLACC score were (5.91±1.75), (3.38±1.50) and (1.72±0.58); oxygen saturation (%) were (96.34±1.12 ), (96.47±1.11) and (98.03±0.74); heart rate (beats per minute) were (132.00±1.31), (126.31±5.11), (118.09±7.67). Compared with the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). On the 3rd day, FLACC score decreased, and blood oxygen saturation increased, and heart rate decreased in both groups compared with the first day of anus dilation, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusions Compound Lidocaine Cream can relieve the pain of dilatation. It is safe, simple, and is worthy of clinical promotion.
