Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of clinical pathway on health education of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma,so as to establish the optimal model of health education.Methods Through the development of clinical nursing pathway,totals of 80 cases were randomly divided into control group (n =40)and experimental group (n =46).Patients in control group received routine health education,while the experimental group received the health education according to the clinical pathway.Then,patients' health education knowledge and satisfaction of nursing quality was compared between two groups.Results The compliance rate of patients to master knowledge of health education (97.83% vs 45.00%) and satisfaction degree to nursing quality(95.65% vs 67.50%) in the experimental group was significantly higher than that of control group (x2 =120.55,15.26;P < 0.01).Conclusions The clinical nursing path for health education can improve nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients' knowledge degree of health education,actively cooperate with medical care,improve patients' satisfaction.
