Abstract
Objective To explore the application of clinical pathway way of thinking on health education for patients of knowledge about cancer chemotherapy. Methods 176 cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy accepting traditional health education methods from January to December 2010 were selected into control group, and 176 cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy accepting health education by clinical pathway from January to December 2011 were selected into experimental group. Results Emotional changes, mastering the knowledge degree, treatment compliance and self care ability and patient satisfaction survey in observation group were significantly better than those of control group(P< 0.01). Conclusions Clinical nursing pathway could significantly improve the tumor chemotherapy patients anxiety, pessimistic and negative emotions, improve chemotherapy patients compliance and the treatment effect, improve the quality of life of patients with chemotherapy oncology.
