Abstract

The effect of different barium contents on dielectric properties and phase transitions in lead lanthanum zirconate stannate titanate ceramics was studied. X-ray diffraction showed that all samples were tetragonal phase at room temperature. With Ba2+ content increasing from 0.08 to 0.10, the Curie temperature decreased from 87°C to 54°C. The forward switching field E AF of the electric-field induced antiferroelectric to ferroelectric phase transition decreased from 19 kV/cm to 13 kV/cm, and the backward switching field E FA of ferroelectric recover to antiferroelectric phase decreased from 11 kV/cm to 10 kV/cm. The hysteresis of ΔE (ΔE = E AF—E FA) also decreased from 8 kV/cm to 3 kV/cm.
