Abstract

This research aims to prove that the use of mind mapping techniques through group guidance is effective in changing students' study habits. The research sample was 5 students of class XI Science at Sint Carolus Catholic High School, Kupang. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative using a pre-experimental design (one-group pretest-posttest design). Data collection tools are a study habits questionnaire and intervention guide. The t test formula is used by researchers when analyzing data. From the results of the analysis, t_count = 20,112, and t_table at the 5% significance level = 3,182 (t_count>t_tabel). The results prove that the mind mapping technique is effective in changing the learning habits of class XI students at Sint Carolus Kupang Catholic High School for the 2023/2024 academic year.
