Abstract

Education is very necessary for man in order to articulate himself and achieve fullness. But the formal system, which is elitist, discriminatory and instalmental, cannot alone provide all education one needs for self- fulfillment. The terminologies, such as, continuing education, recurrent education, education permanente and life- long education, have been used by different bodies to stress that education should be co-terminous with life.
