Abstract
Auris Nasus Larynx, the official English-language journal of the Oto-Rhino-Laryngological Society of Japan, Inc. was first published in 1972, and has provided the opportunity for rapid, carefully reviewed publications concerning the basic and clinical aspects of otorhinolaryngology and related fields including otology, neurotology, bronchoesophagology, laryngology, rhinology, allergology, head and neck medicine and oncologic surgery, maxillofacial and plastic surgery, audiology, and speech science. Original contributions including “Original papers”, “Short communications” and “Case reports”, remain the main components of Auris Nasus Larynx. “Special issues” which we have started to publish from 2010 have also drawn considerable readers’ attention.
