Abstract
In our country, for the first time in history a genuinely democratic system of education has been created. All the peoples of the Soviet Union have schools which teach in their native language, universal compulsory eight-year education has been introduced everywhere, and the number of young industrial and collective farm workers studying without leaving production is growing. These achievements became possible thanks to the development of the socialist economy and as a result of the fact that the whole party and the whole people are ceaselessly concerned with the school.
