Economic aspects of Green Energy Development in The Context of Maintaining Strategic Sustainability and Environmental Conservation

Abstract

The energy needs of human civilization are increasing every year, causing the search for opportunities to meet them while observing the principles of sustainable development. The work aims to analyze the economic aspects of green energy as a fundamental component of a sustainable development strategy. To achieve the goal, key areas for the development of renewable energy were identified. The authors characterized the advantages of introducing innovations in the energy industry, which will allow: to reduce the negative anthropogenic impact on the environment; allow more intensive use of resource potential; prevent the exhaustion of the natural resource base; and contribute to the development of sectors of the national economy that are not related to the exploitation of carbon raw materials, etc. As a result, it was revealed that the measures for the formation of green energy are currently insufficient; from the point of view of the authors of the article, facilitating the creation and development of a technological base in the field of green energy will not only provide economic benefits in the strategic perspective and keep up with global trends but will also have a positive impact on sustainability and stability in the environment and society.
