Preface

Abstract

In last few decades, a lot of development and advancement is witnessed in this field of Green Energy but we all know “Everything comes at a price”. There are issues and complexities emerging out with it. There is a great need to explore the concerns and also the solutions in the field of Green Energy, merged with computational Intelligence so that we can meet the challenges, uncertainties, complexities with a same pace with which it is escalating. For this purpose and to learn as well as share this knowledge among all, the conference on “Advancements and Challenges in Green Energy and Computing AKGEC-2023” was organized during 24th – 25th February 2023. The prime objective of Conference was to bring together researchers, scientists, students, and industry professionals to discuss innovative ideas, opportunities, challenges, advancements and research results in the field of Green Energy, Computing and security, sustainable development, Artificial intelligence and Embedded Systems on an international premier forum.The conference received an overwhelming response with over 205 entries under 4 tracks. All the papers were blind peer reviewed by our esteemed reviewers from across the globe. Each manuscript was reviewed by at least two reviewers and the conference committee accepted only quality papers for inclusion in the conference proceedings. The program flow of the conference was well-organized, and included various sessions viz an inaugural program in presence of 3 renowned speakers, 4 keynote addresses, a panel discussion on “Threats and Opportunities for the Adoption of Green Energy” with 5 expert panellists, 71 oral and 20 poster paper presentations and a valedictory program under presence of 3 eminent speakers.The conference provided valuable insights in the field of green energy and computing. All keynote speakers delivered excellent talks and shared their professional experience. A strong need for collaborative efforts to promote Green Energy for sustainable development was emphasized during valedictory program. The conference was concluded with a motivation quote “Investment in Green Energy is the investment for future”.The conference was made valuable by the strong support and association of Journal of Physics Conference Series, IOP Publishing. The entire conference organizing committee is highly indebted to them and look forward to their invaluable support in our future conferences as well. The conference organizing committee appreciate all the reviewers for dedicating their time, energy and putting in sincere efforts to review the submissions.
