Abstract
The article substantiates the need to develop tools for economic and statistical analysis of the results of customs procedures. A methodological approach to conducting such an analysis is proposed, including a statistical assessment of the main characteristics of the declared goods and an economic analysis of the reasons for the results obtained. The general trends in the application of customs procedures in the Russian Federation have been identified, which made it possible to justify the need for a more detailed analysis of the indicators of the application of customs procedures. With the help of the proposed methodological approach, an economic and statistical analysis of the results of the application of customs procedures in the region of the Central Customs Administration was carried out. The main conclusions from the analysis are to identify the features and problematic issues of the application of certain types of customs procedures. Based on the conclusions, proposals for improving the application of customs procedures are formulated.
