Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of early nursing intervention on severe craniocerebral injury complicated with cerebral salt wasting syndrome ( CSWS ).Method Selected 71 patients severe craniocerebral injury complicated with CSWS,which were randomly divided into control group (35 cases) and experimental group (36 cases).Basing on conventional care,experimental group were intervened by early nursing.The results were compared between the 2 groups.The time of serum sodium returning to normal was observed in both groups.Results 1 and 2 weeks after treatment,2.86% and 57.14% patients' serum sodium returned to normal in control group,while 25% and 86.1 1% patients in experimental group.The serum sodium in the patients of experimental group returned to normal in shorter time than in the patients of control group with a significant difference ( P< 005 ).Conclusions Early nursing intervention can reduce the time of serum sodium returning to normal in CSWS patients and has significant and positive effect on the diagnosis,treatment,and prognosis of CSWS patients.It is worth popularizing clinically.
